Tiki Themed DIY Wedding [Eva + Ryan] // Oakland Wedding Photographer

Eva and Ryan are two of the loveliest people I got to photograph here in San Francisco Bay Area. I am so happy they chose me as their photographer to do both their engagement session and wedding photography. These two were so lovely to work with. And hip. (Is this still a thing? I’m getting old here.) But really, they were amazing from their Santa Cruz coffee shop engagement session to their DIY wedding in Piedmont.

These two had DIY wedding with conscious choices. Eva and Ryan decided very early on that if they were going to plan a wedding, they were going to do it on their own terms, making no compromises in who they are and what they believe in. They chose to basically build their wedding from the ground up, hand-picking every single vendor and detail. These two believed in supporting: women, local businesses, and being environment friendly.

These two got married at Piedmont Community Hall which is such a lovely place surrounded by redwoods. Also can we talk about how cute every single details that were touched by them? The seat chart they made for the wedding was absolutely the cutest.

They both got little emotional on their first look and during their ceremony and I am so happy that I was to capture these precious moments of their special day. The vegan donuts they had was so bomb. 100% would photograph these two for the donuts! ;)

Oh, and these two decided to change their last name to something completely different from their formal names and it

Mission Dolores Park Engagement Session [Gina + Sam] // SF Engagement Session Photographer

And we are back with this cute SF Engagement session with these beautiful people! Mission Dolores Park and Twin Peaks are two of very first places we visited when we first moved to San Francisco almost 4 years ago. We quickly fell in love with SF because of these special, very San Francisco places. It was nostalgic to come back here for Gina and Sam’s engagement session.

Mission Dolores Park and Twin Peaks are two locations these two San Francisco natives hang out often daily and it was a great opportunity to get to photograph them in their essence.

Twin Peaks was windy per usual on the day of their engagement session. Which gave these two great excuses to be closer and be cuddly. Also can we talk about the view at the top of Twin Peaks? We are constantly amazed by the beauty of Northern California and so lucky that we get to photograph love at most beautiful locations in California.

These two originally met in middle school and went through a couple of awkward preteen group dates (HOW CUTE!!), and destiny brought them back together when Gina went to UCLA. On her very first night she encountered Sam again. And they have been BFFs ever since. AND they are about to say yes to forever and ever to one another this fall.

We can't absolutely wait for their Terra Gallery wedding in San Francisco this fall!
