erica first got in contact with us back in august. she and natalie, her beautiful bride to be, had booked a remodeled warehouse in San Francisco’s Mission district, and the day was set to be an intimate one (our favorite!!). it’s november. the thought of just how fast the time has sped by is on our minds as we walk through the front door of the warehouse. when we arrived there, we couldn't believe there was this hidden spot in the middle of "normal looking street".
the first room was divided by an imaginary border, separating the room into two different styles of boho-chic urbanism. the only way to the back was through a dimly lit tunnel constructed of plywood and parts of wooden pallets. awaiting us at the other end was a beautifully maintained shell of an airStream travel trailer, wrapped in artificial vines warm colored patio lights. going upstairs was an outer body experience, seemingly taking us far away from San Francisco, and into a hip borrow somewhere in the up and coming Harlem.
natalie and erica stood with nothing but air in between them, and surrounded by friends and family, as they read their vows to each other. their words were heavy, pulling the sky though the clouds and all of us closer to them as they shared the way they felt to us.
the night was still young, and in true love fashion, they danced.
